The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
